Go Red
Red has quickly become the color that signifies the American Heart Association’s “Go Red” movement that educates women about the risk of heart disease. It is the number-one killer of women in the United States. While women passionately support “Wear Red Day” by donning red dresses, scarves and lipstick – heart health is something to think about every day. It is the personal commitment to making changes so that we can lead healthy lives today and for many tomorrows.
Join local women at the Go Red Luncheon on May 7th at UOP. In addition to wonderful cuisine and relationship building, the day will include presentations on heart disease and strokes, along with healthy and nutrition education. For ticket information contact Janelle Wilkinson at the American Heart Association, 209 477-2683.
