Tim and Ted who?
BY CARRIE SASS
It was the perfect story for our Father’s Day issue. Unfortunately, while rearranging a few pages prior to publishing, the first paragraph – and the most important, descriptive paragraph – got hidden somewhere in cyberspace! It was still a nice story about Tim and Ted, but it just missed the heartstrings by leaving out the recognizable name of the Katzakian family.
Please look for your June issue of Elegant Lifestyles, and turn to page 40. Re-read the story beginning with the paragraph listed below.
“Through the years Tim Katzakian and his dad Ted built many homes together. This 4,400 square foot home in Morada was one of the last and most pleasurable one the father-son, builder/designer team would collaborate on. With the full outdoor kitchen, barbeque, TV screen, 600-square-foot cabana and pool, this is a home a man can really kick back in and enjoy.”
You can bet that I’ll think twice about ever criticizing a magazine, newspaper or any other publication for an editorial mishap! And to Tim Katzakian and his family, my sincere apologies for the oversight!
This issue we are introducing “Wag Tales, Joaquin Dogs.” Oh, I just can’t wait to see the photos our readers submit! Such pampered pooches! Speaking of pampering, I am truly amazed at the beauty of Sycamore Lane Dog Kennels and Grooming! Swarovski Crystal-studded collars are the norm at this plush palace for our canine friends.
As summer winds down, be sure to mark your calendars for the 12th Annual Record’s Literacy and Book Fair – Family Day at the Park. It is being held on Saturday, September 19, from 9:30 to 4:00 at University Park on the corner of California and Magnolia Streets. Because of our generous sponsors, Family Day is free to the entire community – this is a day focused on literacy and learning! Bring the kids. Bring the grandkids. You’ll be a hero. Promise.
