What I like most about San Joaquin County: It is easy and convenient to live here! There is so much to do in and around Stockton.

The people who mean the most to me: Family, friends and colleagues

Favorite SJ County place to take friends when they come to visit: Wine tasting! People from outside the area are amazed and impressed at the quality and number of fabulous wineries in this area.

A key event in my life and the impact it had on me: In my professional life, working for F&M Bank has been an incredible opportunity. I wanted to live and work in this community, and I am fortunate to work for a stable, SJC-based company. The growth I have made in my professional career allowed me to purchase my first home at the age of 25.

One thing I want to accomplish while I am able: Travel!

Favorite sports team: Men’s UOP basketball! Being an alum, a courtside tiger dancer for four years and traveling to three NCAA tournaments will do that to you!

Favorite vacation destination: Maui

Hobbies: Cooking and socializing with friends.

Sports I enjoy: Snowboarding, running and dancing

Pet: A turtle named Cooter (after the Dukes of Hazzard)

Favorite food/dessert: Tiramisu from Podesto’s grocery store in Lincoln Center

I “give back” by volunteering with: I serve on F&M Bank’s United Way steering committee. The bank is very committed to helping non-profits, and encourages us to do the same. In 2009 we raised over $116,000 for the United Way.

Other information you would like to share: I love going to, shopping at and cooking with products from the Farmers Markets in Stockton and Lodi.
