How long I’ve lived in San Joaquin County: All of my life, aside from 4 years attending college in San Diego.
What I like most about San Joaquin County:Variety is the very spice of life that gives our community its flavor – from watching the beautiful sunset behind Mt. Diablo to visiting the wine country. We have it all.
The people who mean the most to me: My wonderful husband, family and friends.
Favorite SJ County place to take friends when they come to visit: Wine tasting in Lodi, and the restaurants and stores along the Miracle Mile and within Lincoln Center.

A key event in my life and the impact it had on me: Backpacking in Europe, fresh out of college, taught me a lot about myself. I realized I could be resourceful, independent, and confident in making my own decisions.
One thing I want to accomplish while I am able: Hike to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite.
Favorite sports team: It’s a toss-up between the Kings and the 49ers.
Favorite vacation destination: Snow skiing at Tahoe, kayaking in Lake Almanor, and soaking up the rays in San Diego.
Hobbies: Skiing, running, reading, and walking the tomato fields with my husband.
Sports I enjoy: Watching sports live, especially basketball and football.
Pets: My husband and I have three: Gauge, a Labrador retriever; Bruno, a Rottweiler; and our feline friend, Furball.
Favorite food/dessert: Pizza!
I “give back” by volunteering with: Junior League of San Joaquin County
Other information you would like to share: I encourage everyone in the community to spend time giving back, and to learn about our school systems and the food grown in San Joaquin County.
