Ol’ Blue Eyes is Back – Tribute to Frank Sinatra
Nobody delivered songs like Frank Sinatra, and Las Vegas entertainer Mark W. Curran delivers them with pizzazz and style in his intimate cabaret-style tribute production. This show, scheduled for Sunday, February 14 at Hutchins Street Square features all the great hits of Frank Sinatra and asalute to the legendary singers of Las Vegas with select interpretations from the Great American Songbook.

The Colorists: Peggi Kroll-Roberts & Ann McMillan

Color defines the work of two accomplished fine artists exhibited at the Knowlton Gallery through February 27. Peggi Kroll-Roberts, an established California painter, is best known for her figured beach scenes. With spare strokes of color she creates representational scenes with strong abstract elements. Similarly, Ann McMillan, painting in oils and in pastels, uses vivid colors and thick strokes of paint to create her impressionist landscapes.

Susan B. Anthony Women of Achievement
Honoring women who have excelled in their respected careers, The San Joaquin County Commission on the Status of Women will host the 35th Annual Susan B. Anthony Women of Achievement Awards. The banquet will be held Monday, February 15 at 6:00 pm at Stockton Golf and Country Club.

3rd San Joaquin International Film Festival

The San Joaquin International Film Festival will return for its third year with showings in Stockton and Modesto. Scheduled for February 18 through 26, the most important cinema festival in California’s 400-mile Central Valley is a glorious showcase of new, innovative, and award-winning works from emerging talents and seasoned international artists. Spanning nine days, the festival presents an extraordinary and diverse selection of fascinating new films from around the world.

Junior League Surf N’ Turf
This one night each year is so tropical you’ll expect to leave with a tan! Junior League of San Joaquin will transform Presentation’s Community Center for the annual Surf N’ Turf dinner, Saturday, February 27. An evening packed with “something for everyone,” the tropical paradise includes appetizers, a full bar, cracked crab, marinated grilled tri-tip, salad, pasta, dessert and a coffee bar… and you haven’t even heard about the fantastic silent and live auctions and the entertainment.

19th Annual Trivia Bee “The most fun evening of the year!”
The Trivia Bee is a fun and competitive evening filled with team and audience participation! The Friday, March 12 event will be full of glitz and glamour as we present the theme, “Lights, Camera, Literacy!”Team members will stretch their minds to answer a broad range of trivia questions with a goal of winning the coveted Bee Bobble Head Award, while audience participants vie for awards for best costume, best team name and best decorated table. Be a part of the fun and enjoy a great dinner, auction, and raffle prizes. The Trivia Bee is the primary fundraising event for the Library & Literacy Foundation. Last year 37 teams and sponsors generated more than $60,000 for literacy programs in our community!

30th Annual Women’s Center Luncheon
This year the Women’s Center will be hosting its 30th Annual Luncheon on Wednesday, March 31 at the Stockton Arena, partnering with the Arena and the Stockton Thunder hockey team this year to bring you this signature event in a fantastic new venue. Last year alone more than 30,000 individuals benefited from the Women’s Center’s services. The luncheon helps sustain life-saving services and shelters at no charge to clients, and raises the level of community awareness surrounding sexual assault and domestic violence.
